Please note the latest addition to the Green Pajamas clan, drummer Scott Vanderpool. As a founding member of Olympia’s seminal rockin’ pop combo from the early ’80s, the Young Pioneers, Scott was a HUGE part of the world from which K sprang. Young Pioneers appear on our first three cassette compilations of Olympia ( + elsewhere) sounds, Let’s Together (1984), Let’s Kiss (1985) and Let’s Sea (1986). Scott was kind enough to lend Beat Happening his drum set countless times (in fact they were played on the first Beat Happening 45 “Our Secret” / “What’s Important”). Thanks, Scott!
